Vijay Sethupathi’s son Surya Sethupathi recently made his debut in Tamil cinema with the film Phoenix. As the Sports Actioner is currently running in theaters, the young actor revealed 2 pieces of advice to his father.
What did Vijay Sethupathi advise his son before his debut?
Talking to Zoom in an interview, Surya Sethupathi said, “My father said only two things. As a Nepo child, someone should have the ability to handle negative things.”
The actor said, “Another thing was that you should be responsible for your job. This is because it is not only a person who is doing this work; this is teamwork. Just believe this process and do as much as you can.
In the same conversation, Surya Sethupathi talked about the fond memories shared on a film set with her father. Enlightening in the details, Surya revealed how Vijay was very fascinated with his character in Maharaja.
Star Kid said, “One thing I can remember is from the Maharaja set. I think it is a different character from his entire career. He used to tell me a lot of things that he discovered differently. I think the character was very interesting for him.”
Surya continued that if he and her father are watching a film, the two will have different views. His conversation about cinema usually revolves to understand and discuss these views.
