The Maharaja starring Vijay Sethupathi, starring 2024, was a large -scale hit in theaters. The actor recently revealed that he was at the lowest point of his career when the film came to him.

The Maharaja, directed by Nithilan Samithan, is an action-revenz thriller. The film follows the story of a barber in Chennai called Maharaja, who lives as a single father with her daughter.
However, his life takes a turn when one of his nutritious dustbins are stolen, inspiring the Maharaja to reconstruct it with the help of the police. Soon, everyone finds out that the case is far more serious than the stolen waste, in which shocking truths are being unveiled.
In addition to Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, the film stars an actors’ contingent, including Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natti Subramaniam, Abhirami Gopikumar, Diwabharathi, Singampuli, Bharthiraj and many lead roles.
The film was a large -scale box office success and received immense praise from critics. Outside India, the film also became a big hit in China.
On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi was last seen playing the role of co-Leide in Viduthalai Part 2. Directed by Vartheran, the film is a period political crime thriller who follows the police constable caught in the middle of an operation to catch a revolutionary.
The second installment in this two-part film series includes Sori as a co-leed, which includes Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bhavani SRE, Rajiv Menon, Illvarsu and Balaji Sakathivale. The film is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Moving forward, Vijay Sethupathi is ready to appear in the main roles in the train, and an untital project directed by Pandiraj, where he will act with Nithya Menon.
