Actor Vijay Sethupathi has urged the government to update information related to PAN card and available in Tamil, which highlights the need for better access to non-Hindi and non-English speakers.
Speaking at an event recently, Sethupathi said that the PAN card details are currently provided only in Hindi and English, making it difficult to use important updates for many Tamil speakers. He emphasized that if the information was available in Tamil, it would reach a very widespread audience and stop unnecessary confusion.
He said, “People in Tamil Nadu often make a frantically discovery to update a problem. It would not have happened if the information was in a language that she understood,” she said.
The actor appealed for a more inclusive approach, making calls to be available in many languages for PAN-related updates to ensure that all citizens, regardless of linguistic background, have easy access to the necessary financial information.
