Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who played a cameo role in Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, shared his happiness over the film’s success at the box office. The science-fiction film, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan, released in theatres on June 27.

Vijay Deverakonda shared a note on his official X handle and thanked the makers. Moreover, he also expressed happiness for the film’s blockbuster opening. He wrote, “Naagi (Naag Ashwin) Prabhas Anna @VyjayanthiFilms. I am so happy for all of you. You all deserve love, success and power. Celebrating for you and God bless you. Earlier, fans had praised Vijay’s two-minute cameo. According to them, in his brief time, he has managed to captivate the audience. Sharing their reactions on the episode, the audience could not stop themselves from talking about it endlessly. Earlier, Prabhas had shared Dulquer and Vijay’s cameos in a live video.

Praising the ‘Geetha Govindam’ actor, a fan wrote, “Vijay Deverakonda is back. The whistles are louder than ever. Wonderful surprise.” Another fan wrote, “I will tell you again – Vijay Deverakonda is the future of Tollywood. I can’t get over his 2 minute cameo. Absolute fire on screen.”

In a recent Instagram live session with director Nag Ashwin, star Prabhas of the much-awaited science-fiction film ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ surprised fans by revealing the involvement of South Indian heartthrobs Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda in the project.

Prabhas expressed his heartfelt appreciation towards both the actors and acknowledged their contribution to the film. He said, “Thank you Dulquer and Vijay, they made our film bigger.”

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ also stars Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan in important roles.
