Actor Vijay Deverakonda reacted to the recent court order suspending reviews and ratings of actor Chiranjeevi’s Sankranthi release. Man Shankar Var Prasad GaruHe called for the shocking politics of organized strikes during the release of films on his social media posts,

Vijay’s dear comrade “I began to see for the first time the shocking politics of organized attacks.”

He further added, “All these years my voice has fallen on deaf ears – I have been told that no one can stop a good film. And every producer and director who makes a film with me soon realizes the scale of the issue.”

“I have spent many nights awake wondering what kind of people do this, and how to deal with them to protect my dreams and the dreams of many like me and those coming after me.. I am happy that this is now out in the open and the court now recognizes the danger even to films starring a person as big and powerful as a megastar. This will not solve the problem completely but will become one less thing to worry about. For now let’s wish #MSG and all other Sankrantis May the films do very well by entertaining us all during the holidays (sic),” the actor said.

Vijay also shared a picture with his post in which he is seen with director Anil Ravipudi. Man Shankar Var Prasad GaruChiranjeevi and Nayanthara’s performance cannot be reviewed or rated on the ticketing platform BMS (BookMyShow). The film is set for theatrical release on January 12, 2026.
