Vijay Deverakonda announces his next film with Hi Nanna director Shouryuv
Vijay Deverakonda has announced his next ambitious film VDxShouryuv in collaboration with director Shouryuv. Shouryuv is best known for his hit Hi Nanna with actors Nani and Mrunal Thakur.
Actor Vijay Deverakonda has announced his next film, tentatively titled VDxShauryuvIn collaboration with Shoryuv, best known for hi nanna. The actor shared the announcement on Instagram on Saturday, introducing the core team of the project.
In his post, Vijay described the film as a challenging venture supported by a global crew. He wrote, “Introducing the team that did the scary job of making this scary movie. This firecracker global team was so glad to have worked on this with Shoryuv with his wild imagination and intense heart. Roar my friends. I will give you my all.”
The announcement poster features Vijay Deverakonda at the centre, highlighting the global collaboration of the film. The project is expected to explore a mythological tale with production on an international scale.

The film brings together an international technical team, including cinematographer Alejandro Martínez, known for his work dragon houseAnd like a VFX team associated with films snowpiercer And batman forever. The music will be composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who previously worked on hi nanna And hridayam.
VDxShauryuv It also marks a new phase in Vijay’s career. Actors known for films like Arjun Reddy And Geeta GovindamNow moving on to larger, globally established projects. Meanwhile, Shouryuv is building on the success of his directorial debut with this ambitious film.
The technical team includes Emmy-winning VFX supervisor Eric Durst, editor Praveen Antony, production designer Suresh Selvarajan and costume designer Sachin Lovalekar.
Meanwhile, Vijay is also working battlefieldA historical action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityayan. Set between 1854 and 1878, the film, which also stars his actor-wife Rashmika Mandanna, explores resistance against colonial rule during the Great Indian Famine. Vijay plays the role of a freedom fighter, while Mandanna plays his wife. Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo plays the antagonist.
