Love Insurance Company, aka LIK, the much awaited Tamil movie now has a release update. After fans were told to expect a late 2025 release, the film has been postponed a few times, and now has a possible mid-February premiere. Although there is no official announcement for fans, but according to Mid-Day, sources are planning a release on February 12.

It was initially scheduled to be released on 18 September 2025, but was postponed due to unknown reasons before its premiere. A new date of 17 October was later announced, which also failed. The December 18 release also did not succeed in its plans. Now, news of a Valentine’s Day release is coming out and the makers have kept mum on it so far. As fans wait for the official confirmation, there is a lot of buzz about the struggles it will have at the box office, as many awaited Tamil projects are eyeing the February period for explosive theatrical releases.
Jana Nayakan, which was scheduled to hit the screens earlier this month, has been delayed indefinitely pending CBFC approval. A February release seems highly likely at this point. Additionally, the confirmed drops include With Love starring Abhishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan, which will release on February 6. Vijay Antony’s Pookie with Ajay Dishaan and RK Dhanusha has also been locked for Valentine’s Day. Meanwhile, Tamil-Telugu bilingual project Sigma is also expected to drop in the same period.
Thai Kizhavi and Benz are two other projects that are said to be considering a late February release, which would make it a competitor to LIK at the box office.
