Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur are a beautiful couple in Bollywood who like to keep their personal lives away from media attention. As the couple celebrates their wedding anniversary, let’s remember the moment when the actress, like every other wife, said that she would never work with her producer husband. Vidya Balan explained that she would not be able to negotiate with him and they would eventually fight.
In a previous interview with Anupama Chopra, the actress was asked if she was planning to work with her husband Siddharth, who is a popular filmmaker. In her response, The Dirty Picture actress immediately ruled out the possibility.
He explained how difficult it would be to blend personal and professional relationships and said, “It’s too much.” Balan further explained that whenever she has a problem with a director or producer, she can argue with them to resolve it. However, this cannot happen with Kapoor as he feels it will always lead to fights, citing the nature of their relationship.
Vidya said, “When it is so personal, I feel that because I can fight Sidharth, then I will end up fighting him.”
The actress further said that she values the sanctity of her marriage and does not intend to create professional conflicts between them. He also admitted that there have been instances when he had to give up some scripts to avoid conflicts in the house.
Describing her answer as amusing, Balan highlighted that she would not be able to negotiate with her husband for money and does not want to get involved in it.
Vidya also recalled the incident when they were dating during the making of her film Ghanchakkar co-star Farhan Akhtar. At that time, he had to work with Siddharth when situations often became difficult between them, and this taught him the lesson of not mixing work within their bond.
She recalls, “I called Ronnie and said I wanted to go, and he said he would make sure I didn’t have to meet him during work. In this profession, you can lose objectivity because we work so closely. Let’s work.”
Vidya, known for her outspoken opinions, said that her relationship with her husband is very precious to her. As a result, he has consciously separated his professional and personal life.
