A couple travelling in a public bus in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruchirappalli district was allegedly attacked by a drunk man, leading to chaos inside the bus. Co-passengers who came to intervene to save the couple grappled with the man and forced him to get off the bus. The couple, reportedly hailing from North India, had boarded the bus from Gudalur to Karur. A drunk man also boarded the bus and started creating a ruckus, but no one intervened initially.
