Amitabh Bachchan was seen at the Hyderabad airport to attend the ANR awards ceremony on October 28. Akhil Akkineni, son of actors Nagarjuna and Amala, personally welcomed Big B at the Hyderabad airport. A video of Akhil welcoming Amitabh Bachchan is now going viral on social media. Vyjayanthi Movies producer Ashwini Dutt, who directed Kalki 2898 AD, was also present at the airport.

This year the prestigious ANR Award will be given to Megastar Chiranjeevi. Amitabh Bachchan will present the award to Chiranjeevi at the mega event today, October 28.

On Friday (October 25), Nagarjuna met megastar Chiranjeevi and invited him to the awards ceremony, which also marks the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary ANR (Akkineni Nageswara Rao).

Sharing some pictures, Nagarjuna wrote, “This year is extra special as we are celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of my father, ANR garu! Amitabh Bachchan received this award in 2014. Earlier, Devanand, Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan, SS Rajamouli, Hema Malini, Shyam Benegal, Sridevi B Kapoor, Rekha, Shabana Azmi, Anjali Devi, Vyjayantimala Bali and Balachander have received this award.
