Vidamuyarchi, starring Ajith Kumar, is all set to release on the big screens on Pongal 2025. Along with the official announcement, the makers released the teaser of the film which also stars Arjun Sarja, Aarav and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. They are probably playing the role of the antagonist.
The teaser has grabbed attention with tremendous action sequences. It features a story where Ajith Kumar’s character goes on a mission to uncover a mystery involving his wife Trisha Krishnan. Meet Vidamuyarchi’s main opponents
In the teaser, Arjun Sarja is seen along with Regina Cassandra as part of a gang who seem to enjoy their nefarious activities. His characters are hinted to have sinister intentions. An evil laugh is also heard in the beginning which shows that they are the main adversaries of Ajith’s character. This is in line with the veteran actor’s reputation for playing intense roles in action films.
On the other hand, Regina’s character is also a part of the rival group who commit crimes involving murder of people. Not much information about his role has been given in the teaser. However, her presence with Arjun Sarja suggests that she is involved in a conflict against Ajith’s character in Vidamuyarchi.
Meanwhile, Aarav also plays a villain along with Regina and Arjun Sarja. His character adds to the action-packed story of the film. Although her role has not been fully revealed, her presence alongside Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan and other actors piques interest.

Arjun Sarja is a popular Indian actor and director. He is known for his work in Tamil cinema as well as Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. Often called the “Action King”, Arjun has acted in more than 160 films and has also directed 12 films.
Regina Cassandra, on the other hand, is known for her work in Tamil and Telugu films. He made his acting debut in Kanda Naal Mudhal as a supporting actor. Subsequently, she made her Telugu debut with Siva Manasulo Shruti and won many accolades for it.
Arav is also a famous actor of Tamil cinema. She made her acting debut in the film Saithan opposite Vijay Antony. Arav came to fame after winning the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil hosted by Kamal Haasan.

The teaser of Vidamuyaarchi starts with Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra and their gang enjoying committing heinous crimes. Next, the audience meets the protagonist, played by Ajith Kumar. He remembers his happy moments with his wife but it seems he is on a quest, facing significant challenges along the journey.

Meanwhile, rumors are suggesting that Vidamuyarchi is the Indian adaptation of the 1997 hit American action thriller film Breakdown. It starred Kurt Russell in the lead role.
