Vidamuyarchi hits another less; 2.50 crores in 7 days
Opened with an outstanding rupee of Rs 25.50 crore, the action thriller could not catch his 61 crore rupees well after a four -day weekend. The film saw a huge decline on its first Monday and could collect Rs 3.50 crore. In addition, it recorded some increase on day 6 and collected around Rs 3.75 crore, which thanks to Semi-Holiday on the occasion of Thaposam Day.
According to estimates, the film has fallen again today and can add only Rs 2.50 crore to Tally. The total collection of Vidamuyarchi is now Rs 70.75 crore at the Kollywood box office.
Vidamuyarchi set to wrap his dramatic run on an average note
Although the film has already emerged as the biggest grocer of Tamil cinema this year, it failed to meet commercial expectations. Vidamuyarchi has already started losing the screen for Kudumbastha and other holdover release. It will soon wrap its dramatic run under a mark of Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu, a bagging below the average word.
Fans will have to wait for Ajit Kumar’s proper comeback at the box office. The actor will be seen next time in Good Bad Ugly, slate to hit the larger screen on April 10, 2025. It will be interesting to see how it performs at the box office.
