Recently, the team of Allu Arjun and Rashmika starrer Pushpa: The Rule announced the new release date of the film. With the postponement of Sukumar’s entertainer, both the films will clash at the box office.

It was earlier reported that Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s debut film, Chava, will release on December 6, 2024. On June 17, the team of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa 2: The Rule also revealed the new release date of the sequel.
Arjun posted on social media stating that the film will release in theatres on December 6, 2024. Now that Pushpa 2 will clash with Chava, there is a high possibility that director Laxman Utekar and his team will consider a new date to release it in theatres.
There is a high possibility of Chava getting postponed as both the films feature Rashmika in a key role. However, only time will tell if the two big budget films will clash or avoid the clash.
Pinkvilla gives exclusive information about the new release date of Pushpa 2
Ahead of the official announcement of the new date of Pushpa 2, a source close to the development exclusively informed Pinkvilla about the same. The source told us, “The team of Pushpa 2 is considering multiple date options, including Dussehra 2024, December 2024 and Pongal 2025. However, the way things are moving, it seems like Pushpa 2 will come in the month of December.”
For the unversed, the team had repeatedly confirmed that Pushpa 2 will hit the big screens on August 15, 2024. But apparently, the release has been pushed due to the delay in the shooting schedule.
The source revealed, “Discussions about delaying Pushpa have been going on for quite some time now, as the makers were racing against time to finish the shoot and lock their edit for the Independence Day 2024 weekend.”
While ‘Chava’ also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Neil Bhoopalam, Divya Dutta and others, ‘Pushpa 2’ also stars Fahadh Faasil.
