Renowned astrologer Venu Swamy landed himself in serious legal trouble by predicting that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will separate in 2027 because of another woman. For this, he also received a summons from the Telangana State Women’s Commission.
Meanwhile, in a shocking development, his wife Veena Srivani’s statement grabbed everyone’s attention. She publicly asked for an expensive gift from Naga Chaitanya on social media.
In her recent post on Instagram, Veena Srivani appeared to ignore the controversial prediction made by her husband Venu Swamy about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala.
Instead, she congratulated them for their new beginning and also demanded a gift from Naga Chaitanya. She said, “Congratulations, Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita. I wish you both happiness. I want a gift. Because, you guys got engaged, but some people diverted it and targeted others. I want a gift. I want a latest bag from LV.”
Well, on August 13, 2024, Venu Swamy was served a summons notice by the Telangana State Women’s Commission to submit clarifications on his recent predictions made about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala.
The Commission took this action on the immediate complaint lodged by the Telugu Film Journalists Association.
For those who don’t know, this came to light when Venu Swamy in a video that went viral on social media claimed that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will separate by 2027 because of another woman.
Though his video grabbed attention and was criticised by many, the astrologer later apologised in a video. He said that he made the prediction in light of what happened between Naga Chaitanya and his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
He vowed never to predict the future of film stars and said, “I vowed never to predict the future of film stars and politicians, and I will stick to my word.” He further said, “MAA President Manchu Vishnu has spoken to me, and I have assured him that I will never predict the future of film stars.”
