Vikram, known for his versatile roles, plays a character driven by a hidden cause, blending familial love with brutal underworld life. The teaser sets the stage for an intense rural action drama, with SJ Surya playing the antagonist – a tough, corrupt policeman who is determined to bring down Vikram’s character. The release of the teaser and the excitement surrounding the film has further increased the anticipation for its release.
Apart from Vikram and Suriya, the film has a strong ensemble cast, including Dushara Vijayan in the lead role and Sooraj Venjaramoodu making his Tamil debut. The music of the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, while Theni Easwar handles the cinematography, ensuring an immersive experience.

Vikram was last seen in Thangalan, which released in August 2023. Despite mixed reviews, the film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Directed by Pa Ranjith, Thangaalan featured Vikram along with Parvathy, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathi and Hollywood actor Daniel Caltagirone.
