Varun Dhawan reveals his favourite Samantha song: She has given many hit songs
Actor Varun Dhawan recently praised his co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu at the teaser launch of his upcoming show ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’. He also shared his favourite song from Samantha’s films.
Bollywood star Varun Dhawan and versatile Samantha Ruth Prabhu attended the teaser launch of their upcoming web series Citadel: Honey Bunny on Thursday. At the event, the two showered praises on each other, with Varun Dhawan revealing his favourite song from Samantha’s films.
Speaking to the media, Varun said, “I really liked the song ‘Ne Ne Naani Ne’ from Eega. I love that song. Whenever I met her (Samantha), I would just say, ‘Can we make a reel on this song?’ I gave her a chance. And she was so amazing in that film. Doing this series with her made me realise that “Oh it was Samantha” (Oh, it was Samantha!). She has given so many hit songs, so I didn’t know (initially) that it was her.”

When Varun started singing, Samantha started laughing and said, “He always wanted to do this.”
Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel: Honey Bunny is the Indian version of the original Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden-starrer. Apart from Honey Bunny, Varun Dhawan also has Atlee-directed Baby John in the pipeline.
