Recently, reports indicated that the film’s story is about a man inspired by his teacher, who names him Bhagat Singh and shapes his values. A tribal boy grows up with strong morals and unwavering courage. Standing firm against injustice, he takes on the forces of evil despite overwhelming odds.

Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on March 26, 2026, but the release was later pushed after the premiere of Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups was postponed.

Apart from Pawan Kalyan, this film directed by Harish Shankar also stars Sreeleela, Raashi Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, R. Parthiban, Rajeev Kanakala, BS Avinash, Posani Krishna Murali, Gautami and others also star in lead roles.

Initially, the team of Ustad Bhagat Singh had announced that the background score of the film would be composed by Thaman S. The film’s songs were originally composed by Devi Sri Prasad; However, due to time constraints and prior commitments, the composer was unable to compose the background score. As a result, the makers chose Thaman for it.

Additionally, there were reports that the film is a remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Theri. However, the director has rejected these claims.

Pawan Kalyan was last seen in the lead role in the gangster action film They Call Him OG. Directed by Sujeeth, the film is part of the Sujeeth Cinematic Universe, which also includes Prabhas’s Saaho and Nani’s upcoming film Bloody Romeo.
