Pawan Kalyan starrer Ustad Bhagat Singh is all set to hit the big screen soon after working for a long time. Now, the makers have officially pushed the release, the film will hit the theaters on March 19, 2026.
Ustad Bhagat Singh Proposed: Pawan Kalyan’s action drama moved forward to March 19
Ustad Bhagat Singh was earlier scheduled to release in theaters on March 26, 2026. However, a few weeks before the release, the makers changed the date to March 19, 2026.
Sharing the update, the team wrote, “This Ugadi, Ustad will dominate. Our Ustad is coming a week early to celebrate massively at the box office. Ustad Bhagat Singh has a grand release worldwide on March 19, 2026.”

The film pushed its release after the release of Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups was postponed. The film, which was initially planned as an Ugadi release, changed its theatrical date due to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and is now set to release on the big screens on June 4, 2026.
Earlier, the team of Ustad Bhagat Singh had also announced that the background score of the film will be composed by Thaman S. The film’s songs were originally composed by Devi Sri Prasad; However, due to time constraints and prior commitments, the composer would not be able to create the background score. As a result, the makers have chosen Thaman for this.
Earlier, the composer had worked with Pawan Kalyan in the gangster action film They Call Him OG, directed by Sujeeth.
The story of Ustad Bhagat Singh revolves around a powerful police officer. Initially, reports revealed that the film would be a Telugu remake of Theri, which starred Vijay. However, in a recent interview, Harish Shankar clarified that the film is not a remake and is completely based on the original story.
Apart from Power Star, the film also stars Sreeleela, Raashi Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, R. Parthiban, Rajeev Kanakala, BS Avinash, Posani Krishna Murali and Gautami also star in lead roles.
The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. The screenplay is written by Dashrath. Ayananka Bose handles the cinematography, while Karthika Srinivas serves as the editor.
