YRF’s ‘War 2’ has received the U/A 16+ Certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The board passed the spy drama with slight cuts and modifications, which included a nine-second deficiency in a bikini scene that featured Kiara Advani.
According to sources close to production, Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR-Starrer were converted from the first 179.49 minutes to 171.44 minutes. The board suggested a nine-second cut in Advani’s bikini shot, allegedly with the song ‘Aavan Javan’.
The source said, “The censor board asks that the erotic scenes of Kiara Advani from War 2 have been cut off up to 50 percent. Nine seconds of her bikini shot have been removed, allegedly with the song Aavan Javan with Herithic Roshan,” said the source.

Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, ‘War 2’, now two hours, is a 52 -minute long film. Advance booking for the film has started.
