Twinkle Khanna meets her first co-star Bobby Deol: Thrilled to see him perform well
Twinkle Khanna recently met her first co-star Bobby Deol and the two reminisced about their old days. Twinkle also revealed that she feels thrilled to see Deol doing well in life.
Actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna shared an appreciation post for her debut Bollywood film Barsaat (1995) co-star Bobby Deol. In her latest Instagram post, Twinkle mentioned that she met Bobby recently, and the two reminisced about their past days.
Twinkle shared a picture of herself with Bobby, in which he is dressed in black, and the animal star looks dapper in a printed shirt. She also posted pictures from Barsaat, which released 29 years ago. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film also marked Deol’s debut in Hindi cinema.
He captioned the post, “Kal aur Aaj Kal 🙂 It’s not just Pinky Masi who is a fan of @iambobbydeol, I am thrilled to see him doing so well. Nostalgia has a sweet taste, and it was fun to relive what we once used to be (sic).”
As soon as Twinkle shared the post, fans went down memory lane. One of them wrote, “Ufff nostalgia… this movie and you both.” Actress Tisca Chopra commented, “Aww… both are so cute.” Another Instagram user said, “What songs, what hair of Bobby and Tina’s innocence! I think it was 1995.” Actress Huma Qureshi reacted with a red heart emoji.
The romantic-action drama Barsaat starred Bobby Deol and Twinkle Khanna as a pair of lovers. The film’s soundtrack included hit songs like “Humko Sirf Tumse Pyar Hai” and “Love Tujhe Love Main”. It was a box office hit when it released in 1995.
Twinkle Khanna has quit acting, while Bobby Deol has become a fan favourite once again after the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal.
