Twinkle Khanna calls herself Mrs Funnybone and there is no doubt about it. Not just her but her husband and actor Akshay Kumar is also the undisputed ‘King of Comedy’. In her latest column for Times of India, the writer revealed how she once asked Akshay to eat poison ivy if he dies and his reply is unforgettable.
The 50-year-old was narrating an incident that happened during the couple’s vacation, when they were returning to their camp. Twinkle and Akshay’s guide pointed out a particular species of birds, called ‘tik-tik’, which have an innate devotion towards their partner and when one dies, the other kills itself by eating poisonous grass.
Hearing this, Twinkle told Akshay Kumar, “Well, if I die first then you too can eat the poisonous grass. If I see your second wife roaming around with my handbag, I promise I will come and trouble both of you.” The Sarfira actor did not miss any chance to joke and in his reply said, “I want to eat that poisonous grass right now, at least then I won’t have to listen to all this nonsense.”
