Twenty One Lifetime Worldwide Box Office Collection: Agastya Nanda starrer flops with Rs 33 crore

Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda in the lead role, completed its overall performance at the box office. The film could collect only Rs 20 crore. Earning Rs 33 crore globally. Most of its earnings came from domestic markets alone, while foreign markets remained sluggish.

The film grossed approximately Rs. Earned Rs. 31.20 crore (total Rs 26 crore) in India. It earned approximately Rs. Collected. 21.50 crore in its opening week. It fell even more heavily in the second week, when it fell as low as Rs. Connect. Tally 4.50 crores. International markets traded only Rs. Contributed. Overall ₹2.50 Crore (USD 275K).

The film had a good start, but could not sustain and soon lost its momentum. Had the film opened to great word-of-mouth, it would have likely made respectable earnings.

The first of twenty-one years, released on 1 January 2026, proved to be a flop. There used to be a belief in the industry that the first film of the year does not work. This belief continues with twenty-one also. Of course, this is just a superstition and is not the reason why this film or other films in the past have not been successful.

A major reason for the Sriram Raghavan directed film flopping at the box office is the mixed reactions and criticism regarding its story. Although a section enjoyed the film, many shunned it on ideological grounds. It will be interesting to see how the film performs during its OTT release.

The final box office collection of Twenty One is as follows: :

Day box office
week 1 Rupee. 21.50 crores.
week 2 Rupee. 4.50 crores.
Total: Rs 26 crore net (Rs 31.20 crore gross)
migrant Rupee. 2.50 Crore (USD 275K)
around the world Rupee. Earning of Rs 33.70 crore
