US President Donald Trump has entered the mobile phone market with a new 5G wireless service and launch of $ 499 smartphone. A new venture called Trump Mobile was officially declared officially at Trump Tower in New York. The service, which will run on the three largest American carriers-varizone, AT & T, and T-Mobile networks-will be available for $ 47.45 in a month. This price is an indication for Trump’s current role as the 47th President of the United States, after his previous term as 45th.
Donald Trump Junior said that the mobile package would include several services in addition to basic connectivity. He said, “We are going to introduce an entire package of products where people can come, and they can get telemedicine on their phone for a flat monthly fee, help on their cars on their cars, unlimited textile in 100 countries around the world,” he said.
The announcement also includes a plan for a “smooth, gold smartphone” called T1, which is being marketed in the United States as designed and manufactured. However, the Trump family has not revealed the name of the company that will manufacture the device. The launch timeline for the phone is also not yet clear, and is expected some time at the end of this year.
Speaking on the Beni Show Podcast, Eric Trump indicated that the first batch of the phone could not be made domestic, but said that the goal is to eventually build all phones in America. “Finally, all phones can be made in the United States,” he said.
Despite the “Made in USA” branding, US smartphone production is extremely limited due to high cost and supply chain issues.
The Trump organization, which manages the President’s business undertakings, said the new service would include US-based call centers. However, it was also clarified that it is not involved in design or production directly or operating cellular service. Similar to other branded enterprises such as Trump Mobile Trump Stake and Trump University, uses the name “Trump” under a licensing agreement.
It is not clear who is behind the T1 Mobile LLC offering service. It was reportedly registered in Florida in April, but no detailed ownership information has been provided. The registered agent referred to media questions for the company’s PR team, which has not been answered.
