Top 2nd weekend ever at Hindi box office: Pushpa 2 shatters previous records; Dethrones Stree 2, Gadar 2 and Beast

Allu Arjun-led Pushpa 2: The Rule has shattered all records at the box office in its second weekend by a huge margin of 27 percent. As per estimates, the Sukumar directorial has earned Rs 115.00 to Rs 117.00 crore in the second weekend, taking its 11-day total collection to Rs 508 crore. This action-packed entertainer has become the fastest film in the history of Hindi cinema to enter the Rs 500 crore club and is now racing towards the Rs 600 crore and Rs 700 crore club in the long run.

Earned Rs 391.50 crore in the first week. Pushpa 2 Earned Rs 24.50 crore on second Friday, followed by Rs 42.00 crore on second Saturday, which was followed by earnings of around Rs 50 crore on second Sunday. The second weekend business of Pushpa 2 is an all-time record, bettering blockbusters like Stree 2 (Rs 92.00 crore), Gadar 2 (Rs 88.00 crore), Animal (Rs 87.00 crore) and Baahubali 2 (Rs 79.00 crore).

Pushpa 2’s second weekend record may last for a long time, like Baahubali 2, which held the #1 position for a period of 6 years and 3 months until the arrival of Gadar 2. Pushpa 2 has also become the first film in the history of Hindi cinema to score a century in the second weekend, and is on track to make Rs 150 crore in the second weekend.

Even on the lifetime front, Pushpa 2 is all set to surpass the collections of Bahubali 2, Pathan and Gadar 2 on the second Monday and become the third highest grosser of all time in 12 days. By the end of the third weekend, it will surpass the turnover young (Rs 558 crore) and Stree 2 (Rs 585 crore) and emerged as the #1 film of all time in the history of Indian cinema.
