Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, organized the rally on topics including British identity, immigration and national security.Addressing supporters, Robinson spoke about the violence faced by Christians in parts of Nigeria and the wider Middle East.“When Christians are being murdered and massacred in every Middle Eastern country…genocide is happening right now,” Robinson said.“This has been happening in Nigeria for years. We will not remain silent when our Christian brothers and sisters are being raped and plundered in any country in the world.”On X (formerly Twitter), Robinson wrote: “While others ignore you, or avoid you and your plight, the patriotic men and women of the United Kingdom of Great Britain will not do the same.”“You are our brothers and sisters in Christ.”Anglican Bishop John Zumbase of Bukuru Diocese in Nigeria addressed the gathering and spoke about the situation facing Christian communities in the Middle Belt region of the country.“Communities that are predominantly Christian are under attack on a daily basis. People are killed. Churches are demolished. And entire communities are dispossessed,” Jhumbes said.He alleged that groups including Boko Haram, ISWAP terrorists and armed Fulani groups have contributed to years of insecurity, kidnappings and attacks targeting Christians in some areas.“Christian persecution is a reality in Nigeria,” Zumbese said. The Bishop also claimed that kidnappers had previously attempted to abduct him from his home in Nigeria.Christian advocacy organizations have repeatedly highlighted concerns over religious violence and insecurity in Nigeria. The country is currently ranked seventh on the 2026 World Watch List published by Open Doors, which tracks persecution faced by Christians globally. The organization has reported thousands of killings linked to extremist violence and armed attacks in the northern and central regions of Nigeria in recent years.Zumbes urged Christians in Britain to “not give up the gospel” and warned that religious extremism and violence are not issues limited to one region.“Please, it’s my wish, my prayer, that you hold on to that gospel,” he said.“Let Christ reign in England.”
