Tom Cruise pays estranged daughter Suri’s $65,000 college fees. Report
Tom Cruise is reportedly fulfilling his divorce settlement by paying $65,000 a year for his daughter Suri’s college education at Carnegie Mellon University. This comes as Suri is dropping her father’s last name and starting a new chapter in Pittsburgh.

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has reportedly taken full financial responsibility for his daughter Suri’s college education as part of his divorce settlement with his ex-wife Katie Holmes. The ‘Mission Impossible’ star is apparently paying $65,000 per year for his daughter’s education at Carnegie Mellon University. This comes after Suri’s decision to remove her father’s name, whom she hasn’t met in 11 years.
according to daily MailCruise will pay Suri’s annual $65,000 tuition beginning in her first year at the private university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The arrangement is part of Cruise’s 2012 separation agreement with Holmes, who received full custody of Suri. Cruise agreed to cover all her education and related expenses, including college fees once she turns 18.
A friend of Cruise said, “Tom is actually paying Suri’s tuition fees; he has always paid for her schooling and he would never stop because he’s an honest guy.”
Earlier this week, 18-year-old Suri was spotted moving into her college dorm with her mother while Cruise reportedly worked on his next project. Suri turning 18 means Cruise will no longer be obligated to pay child support to Holmes.
According to their divorce agreement, Cruise has to pay $400,000 per year for child support and cover all of Suri’s expenses. Suri and Cruise were last seen in public together in April 2013.
The friend further said, ‘He has never hesitated in paying for his daughter’s maintenance and expenses. He is fulfilling his responsibility.’ Suri has recently changed her name to Suri Noel by dropping her father’s surname.
