To offer Starlink Services in India, Jio signal with Alone Musk’s Spacex to offer

Reliance Group’s digital services company Jio Platforms Limited has signed an agreement with Spacex, which signs an agreement to offer Starlink broadband internet services to its customers in India, the company said on Wednesday.

The agreement is under SpaceX receiving the authority to sell Starlink in India.

The development took place a day after Jio’s rival Bharti Airtel signed a similar agreement with SpaceX.

“Our cooperation with STACEX strengthens our commitment to bring Starlink to India and is a transformative step towards the spontaneous broadband connectivity for all.

“By integrating the starlinks in Jio’s broadband ecosystem, we are expanding our access and increasing the reliability and reach of high-speed broadband in this AI-run era, empowering communities and businesses across the country,” Said Reliance Jio’s CEO Matthew Omen.

Pact enables Jio and spacex to find out how Starlink can expand the offerings of Jio and how to complement the direct offerings of spacex for consumers and businesses.

The statement said that Jio will provide Starlink Solutions through its retail outlets through its online storefronts.

Through this agreement, the parties will take advantage of the status of JIO as the world’s largest mobile operator in terms of data traffic and star clinks, which are the most including the most rural and remote areas to distribute reliable broadband services across the country as the world’s major low -low -low -low -class satellite constellation operator.
