Actor Kamal Haasan’s action-drama ‘Thug Life’ is struggling at the box office after completing more than a week in theaters.

The film saw its lowest grossing on Friday, as it collected the lowest Rs 0.75 crore for a much awaited film with megastar.

If the trend continues at the end of this week, the film will become one of the largest box office failures of 2025. The collection of the initial day is an exception, ‘Thug Life’ is earning in single digits with a decline in collection every day.

According to the tracking website, Mani Ratnam’s director earned Rs 44.75 crore in India, as it was Rs 0.75 crore on Friday. SacnilkThe fate of the film is now completely dependent on its collection on Saturday and Sunday.

Amidst mixed reviews for the film, after its release, there has been no positive increase in box office earnings.

With Friday’s collection, Sambhavna Grim for ‘Thug Jeevan’ reached Rs 50 crore.

Even after 38 years of enthusiasm on Ratnam and Haasan’s cooperation, ‘Thug Life’ failed to join the audience.

‘Thug Life’ is co-produced by Kamal Haasan, R Mahendran, Mani Ratnam and Shiva Anant.

Apart from Hassan, the film also includes Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lectmi, Sanjana Krishnamurthy, Jujo George and Nasar, others.

‘Thug Life’ released in theaters on 5 June 2025.
