The deep and sweet friendship between Salman Khan and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui is not hidden from anyone. Sikandar actor remained a frequent part of the veteran politician’s Iftar parties. Being a true friend, Salman once praised Baba Siddiqui and his son Zeeshan Siddiqui for feeding 1,25,000 people during the nationwide lockdown.
Back in 2020, Salman Khan shared a photo of veteran politician Baba Siddiqui and his son Zeeshan Siddiqui on his Instagram account (formerly Twitter). In the photo, the two are captured in a candid moment as they are discussing something with masks on their faces and gloves on their hands. The pair is surrounded by ration packets packed for needy families.
Appreciating the move, Salman sent him a big message and urged people to do the same. He stressed that one should either do it oneself or get it done by a trusted person. He said, “Baba and Baba’s Baba Zeeshan have proudly and proudly distributed ration to 1,25,000 families. NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead by three shooters on Saturday, 13 October 2024. Soon after the incident, he was taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Soon after, Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra reached the hospital to be with the grieving family in their hour of grief.
Meanwhile, a member of dreaded gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has claimed responsibility for the murder through a Facebook post. According to India Today, a viral post has revealed that the politician was murdered because of his close links with Salman Khan and underworld personalities Dawood Ibrahim and Anuj Thapan.
Several political figures and celebrities from the television and film industry including Sohail Khan, Arpita Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Zarine Khan, MC Steyn, Arbaaz Khan’s wife Shura Khan, Sooraj Pancholi, Veer and Shikhar Pahadia arrived along with his grandfather Sushil Kumar Shinde.
