Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma have worked together in many films and they have a very good relationship offscreen too. In this excerpt, let’s remember the funny moment when Anushka revealed that she found Shah Rukh Khan the ‘hottest’ in the sports drama film Chak De India and the reason behind it was his stubble.
In an old interview with Music India TV during the promotions of the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Anushka Sharma shared that she constantly told Shahrukh Khan that he looked ‘hottest’ in the film Chak De India. He said, “I think he looked the hottest in that movie because of the stubble.”
Talking about Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Anushka asked Aditya Chopra if Shahrukh will have a role in the film. The actress further added, “So, Adi said, ‘Yeah, yeah, I’m thinking.’ I said, ‘You are thinking right, it should be like this, there should be stubble.’
Anushka said that, in her opinion, Shahrukh looked the hottest in stubble and uniform. Turning towards Shahrukh, he praised him and said, “I think you look the hottest in this film.”
Anushka Sharma made her Bollywood debut in 2008 with the romantic comedy Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shahrukh Khan. They reunited in 2012 for Yash Chopra’s film Jab Tak Hai Jaan with Katrina Kaif. Shahrukh and Anushka also starred in Imtiaz Ali’s romantic-comedy Jab Harry Met Sejal. They were last seen together in the film Zero, which also starred Katrina.
Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan is currently preparing to start shooting for his next film King. In this film directed by Sujoy Ghosh, he is working with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. As per an exclusive update from Pinkvilla, the action thriller is expected to go on floors in January 2025.
On the other hand, Anushka Sharma is spending quality time with her husband Virat Kohli and their children Vamika and Akaye.
