Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra have had a bond for a long time. Today we recall one of those moments when the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress confessed that she felt insecure of her colleague Parineeti Chopra because Parineeti was too nice. During the release of her debut film Student of the Year, Alia appeared on the fourth season of Karan Johar’s chat show and revealed many secrets.
Alia, who was seated between Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, was heard saying, “There are times when you feel insecure, and I think that is very important for me because then I work hard.” It was when Karan asked who she fears the most, Bhatt without any delay took the name of Parineeti Chopra.
Alia added, “I think she is amazing. I think she is so good that I wish I was that good. She is so effortless and her command over the language is something that I really like.” We called the leading ladies girls because Parineeti Chopra expressed similar sentiments towards Alia in an interview to IANS soon after.

The Amar Singh Chamkila actress said that they both are good friends and Alia makes sure to tell her these things in private as well. Parineeti admitted that she felt good when Alia praised her on KWK and said, “I called her and told her that she need not feel insecure because I think Alia will become a huge star.”
Chopra, in the same interview, praised Alia’s “attractive features” and “exceptional screen presence” and said that if she weren’t an actress, she would herself be a fan of Alia Bhatt. “But as an actress, I know she is very smart, very good-looking and has a great screen presence,” Parineeti added. Parineeti made her debut exactly a year before Alia in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011).
Talking about the work front, Parineeti has not announced any project yet. Alia, on the other hand, has two films in the pipeline. She will now meet the audience with Jigra in theaters on October 11, after which the shooting of Alpha is yet to be completed.
