If ‘why can’t I do jeans, why can’t jeans do’ and the idea of participating in a wedding has ever crossed your mind, fashion designer Duo Falguni Shane More has celebrated how you can actually execute it.
The doubles catauriers, known for their extraordinary high-per-bath fashion works, are often embellished with wings and fringes, a Regal Showcase on 3 on the day 3 on the day of Hyundai India Couture Week 2025, an initiative of FDCI.
Between a stream of sparkling Lehengas, figure-hugging gown, sherwanis, bezaved cherres and reiimaginated sarees, a model took a pair of blue jeans on the runway. There is not a basic pair, but an elevated version incorporates a fringe-hawi hem. A stylish white shirt is lying with a beddown long black jacket and an unmatched blinging brooch with a wedding -dressed makeover dress.
Maximalist in appearance but high -crippled discomfort on the ability to wear practical wear. One approach is obsessed with gene-z and young millennia. Perhaps why almost every phone in the front row went up to record the ‘the look’.
In a special conversation with India today, designer Shane Peacock shared that the reason behind bringing jeans to a bridal show was to try something different, keeping the gene-ZS in mind.
The designer said that if the bride someday chooses to get married in jeans, he would not be surprised. BTW, some bride is already hugging denim in her own way. In 2023, one also took his pledge in a denim lehenga.
Can jeans become staples of a wedding trousers, thanks to their comfort and unexpected individualist appeal? We cannot say a certainty. Eventually, the brides are using rapid use with unconventional silhouettes such as pantsuits and jumpsuits to celebrate their wedding.
Jeans on one side were the real-scene-showing showstopper Akshay Kumar-not in the jeans, and certainly not with Twinkle Khanna that he was unaware of him for the mid-ramp for him, as if he was an unforgettable moments years ago. The superstar returned to the runway after more than a decade.
A known initial-to-bed loyalty, Akshay dug up his famous sleeping program for the show, brought his signature energy on the runway in an ornate Ivory Sherwani-a timely dress that could easily double as a modern groom uniform. However, his sparkling silver jettis added a touch of FSP’s signature maximalism.
Falguni and Shane inspired the grandeur of Indian royalty for their new collection ‘Raj Mahal Bijocks’ and presented it in their couture pieces. A liberal mixture of Swarovski crystal, emerald, and rhinestone decorated the dress; Wide veil, cape-like drapes, and saris-inspired silhouettes took the center stage. The show setup also took the audience to a grand garden party, with marble peacock – reminiscent of Lakshmi Vilas Palace of Baroda – celebrations in the hall.
While the brides are trapped in a sparkling silhouette with a color palette, from soft pastels to acute blacks and blues, the Menswear collection of FSP was also standing out for its bold triest with bling. This collection only showed Sherwanis in the front ornate decorations, but also completely drowned in crystalline glam.
Bezavented Ceres in Falguni Shane Peacock has now become a mainstay, but this time, both introduced another interesting accessory for the groom, which ‘not all on the bride is not all eyes on the bride’.
FSP Lehengas and gown also interplayed voluminous skirts and figure-hugging fishtail cuts. A heavy use of metal also stood outside. Couturiers built metallic bustiers – more art coutures are worthy of a place in museums – characterized by the cuts of the palace.
Even the keyhole cut-out was upgraded to the hearts in the Raj Mahal Bijox collection!
We are all hearts for this!
