Actor Kamal Haasan, who is visiting various cities for the promotion of his upcoming film, ‘Thug Life’, appreciated actor Nani for detailed attention. Nani, a self-proclaimed fan of Kamal Haasan, talked about a scene of ‘Viumandi’ in an interview, which went viral. Haasan noticed the viral video and appreciated him, which made the grandmother’s day.
In an interview with YouTuber Sudhir Srinivasan, the ‘Vikram’ actor opened about his and his grandmother’s praise for his work. Nani, saw the clip and posted a cute message on X.
During the interview, Haasan was asked when colleagues and fans decod and notice some of his works in their films. He quickly interrupted and asked, “What is this, Nani said, okay? How should this cinema be.”
Moving forward, he said, “I can thank him. But, even if I take the name of a grandmother, it will be enough for him. I don’t have to say this too, ‘Thank you, Nani’. I know that he will understand what I mean, and will also do the audience.”
Nani saw Kamal Haasan’s clip taking her name and expressed her happiness. He wrote in Tamil, “Podham sir. Podham (Red Heart Emoji) (SIC),” tagging Kamal Haasan on X. His post has been lax translated into English, “This is enough sir.”
In several interviews, Telugu actor Nani spoke about his praise for Kamal Haasan. Even he has indicated several special scenes from his hit films including ‘Viramandi’ to express his love for Kamal Haasan’s craft. Now that his praise has attracted the attention of legend, it has definitely turned into a special moment for the grandmother.
On the work front, Kamal Haasan will be seen in ‘Thug Life’, which will be released on 5 June. Nani is currently working on ‘The Paradise’, which will be released in 2026.
