Exclusive: Even Akshay is cloudy, Sunil Shetty says when Paresh Rawal exits Hera Feri 3
In a special interview with indiatoday.in, actor Suniel Shetty said that the sudden declaration of Paresh Rawal’s exit from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ was shocking, called it a “big crisis”.
In an interview with Indiayatoday.in, actor Sunil Shetty said that he was ‘clules’ about Paresh Rawal’s sudden exit from his film ‘Hera Pheri 3’, saying that co-star Akshay Kumar did not even know what was going on. Shetty, who promoted ‘Kesari Veer’ in Delhi, admitted that this is a “crisis”, and he has yet to talk with the film’s team.
It was asked to react to Rawal’s exit, the 63 -year -old said, “I have no clue about it. It’s absolutely shocking. I first thought of texting him, and then I felt that I would meet him and discuss it. I have no words about it. Even Akshay was what happened.”
Saying that it seemed like a crisis for the film’s team, he admitted, “This is a crisis. We are in the middle of this film, and this is the biggest shock.”
Shetty, who is ready to resume Shyam with Akshay’s Raju – his prestigious role – Shyam shared that it was his children – Athiya and Ahaan – who broke the news.
He explained, “We were going to start shooting next year. We had already started, in fact. We had shot a promo. It’s a big thing. It’s a big thing. It’s very shocking. I can not understand it. And you know who has sent it? Athiya and Ahaan – both of them both sent it within 15 minutes, what is ‘Papa?’
Shetty underlined that a film like ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is not important not only for the audience, but also for the actors. “You know, this film is important for our mental health. I don’t know what is going to happen,” he concluded.
In a post on X on 18 May, Rawal announced that he had left ‘Hera Pheri 3’, but not due to any ‘creative differences’ with director Priyadarshan. Later, several reports suggested that the actor demanded a fee increase for his performance, which bothers everyone. On 20 May, rumors started planning Kumar to plan for Rs 25 crore on Rawal.
The third part of a iconic comedy franchise ‘Hera Far 3’ was announced in 2023. It was earlier this year that Priyadarshan’s film was confirmed as the director.
