Bhumi Pednekar is back with another powerful performance in Royals, which now streaming on Netflix. In an interview with Times Now, the actress opened her character, Sophia, a self-made, ambitious woman about navigating and navigating life. Bhumi shared that he belonged to Sophia firmly, especially because both of them own their desires without forgiveness. “I think, in general, people are extremely afraid of a woman who owns her wishes and her ambition and what she wants out of life. And I have always done so,” she said.
He credited his boldness and self -sufficiency to his upbringing and the need to be independent from a young age. “A lot of that fearlessness comes from a life that I have lived, which is upbringing, and also that very soon, I just had to take care of myself. It is really a beautiful thing. I am not bitter about it. I am not sad about it. I am not very unhappy about it. I am very lucky that I have become free on it soon,” he said.
Bhumi told that one of her favorite things about Sophia is how leveled the character is. She praised the fact that Sophia was both operated and nourished, and said she has not lost his own part that still loves. Bhumi revealed that this struggle balances ambition with vulnerability, something that he individually resonated.
He admitted that, like Sophia, she is afraid that love may distract her from her career one day. This fear, she believes, stems from that difficult path to manufacture her career. Bhumi found comfortably in the fact how Sophia hurt her work, she says that she has done in her life too.
