Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Anees Bazmee have reunited for an untitled family comedy to hit the theaters in December this year. The film recently completed a major schedule in Kerala and marks the 60th production of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and director Anees Bazmee are all set to reunite for an untitled family comedy, which will release in theaters on December 4, 2026. The film is backed by Sri Venkateswara Creations, with producer Dil Raju bringing the team together for the project.

The film also marks another on-screen reunion for Kumar and Balan. The project recently completed a major shooting schedule in Kerala and the makers are expected to unveil a new picture of Kumar in the coming days.

The upcoming comedy brings back Kumar and Bazmee, the pair known for working together on commercial entertainment. The new film will have an ensemble cast led by Kumar and Balan, with Vijay Raaz and Sudesh Lehri along with Raashi Khanna in important roles.

The untitled film is produced by Shirish Reddy and Kuldeep Rathod in association with Cape of Good Films. This is also the 60th production venture of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

With production proceeding as per schedule, the film is set for release in December 2026. The project brings together Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Anees Bazmee once again for a family entertainer, with its theatrical release slated for December 4, 2026.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Bhoot Bangla, which performed well at the box office. Vidya Balan played an important role in Riteish Deshmukh’s film Raja Shivaji, which is currently running in theatres.
