US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant was abruptly removed from a live interview after being told Donald Trump wanted to meet with him “immediately”. Besant was speaking during a live broadcast on Sky News when the interview was suddenly interrupted and she had to leave the set. He returned to the program about two hours later to continue the discussion. During the resumption of the broadcast, presenter Wilfred Frost commented that it was the first time he had seen a live interview interrupted and asked whether the interruption meant that President Trump was under stress. Answering the question, Besant rejected the suggestion. He said, “No, the President is in very good mood. The Iranian mission is well ahead of schedule.” Besant said she has full confidence in the leadership of the administration handling the situation. “And I have to tell you, Wilf, that I have a teenager who is considering military service.
