The Nothing Phone (4A) lineup is complete in our office! Now we have both units side by side, so we can better show you the subtle differences. The Phone (4A) Pro is different from its vanilla counterpart only in appearance, and it becomes more impressive when you hold it.
The most striking comparison revolves around the glyph interface – it’s a simple glyph bar on the non-Pro and a full-on circular dot matrix display on the Pro. To get a little technical, the Pro has 137 LEDs, while the regular only has 63. As you can imagine, you can do all sorts of clever things with the Glyph Matrix on the Nothing Phone (4A) Pro – animating your timers, different callers, you can even use it as a selfie display for the main camera, although it’s very difficult to distinguish what you’re looking at.

Probably the biggest difference between the (4A) phones is the build material. The vanilla has a plastic body, while the Pro steps up to a full metal unibody. It weighs the same as a plastic phone, but is a few millimeters thinner at 8mm.

Talking about the display, this is another difference between the two phones. In addition to being a little more than an inch larger, the Pro’s screen is also slightly brighter, and faster at 144Hz (vs. 120Hz).
Finally, let’s unbox the Pro. Like the regular phone (4A), it comes with a USB-C cable, a transparent case, and a nothing geeky SIM tool that looks like a fuse.
