The recent Motorola Edge 70 focuses on a super-slim build, but this comes at the expense of battery capacity – the phone is only 6.0mm thick, but its battery is only 4,800mAh. For comparison, the Edge 60 was a 7.9mm phone with a 5,200mAh battery.
Now Motorola is launching Moto Edge 70 Fusion. It’s also thinner than its predecessor, but without sacrificing battery – it has the same 5,200mAh capacity as the Edge 60 Fusion, while the thickness has been reduced from 8.0mm to 7.2mm. The weight basically remains only 177 grams.

The new Fusion Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is powered by a TSMC N4 chip with Cortex-A720 and A520 CPU cores (15% faster than the previous model) and an Adreno 810 GPU. This is different from the previous model, which had a dimension of 7300.
Motorola also reworked the display – the new model sports a quad-curved 6.78″ OLED panel with a 1272p+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It pumps out an impressive 5,200 nits of brightness, which is even more than the Edge 70 (4,500 nits).

The front is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The Edge 70 Fusion is built rugged and comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance (against submersion and water jets, respectively). Additionally, it has also passed the MIL-STD-810H test.

There is a Pantone Validated dual camera on the back. The main module houses a 50MP Sony Lytia 710 sensor (1.0μm pixels) and an OIS-enabled lens. This is joined by a 13MP ultra-wide (120°) with macro capabilities. The selfie camera has a 32MP sensor.
As before, the phone supports 68W fast wired charging, but wireless is missing.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is available in multiple colors with a fabric-inspired finish for the back.
Note that there will be a different version of the Edge 70 Fusion for India. It is thicker at 7.99mm but has a larger 7,000mAh battery. However, Europe is getting a slimmer version of the Fusion.
