Actor Shruti Haasan is set to make his international debut with the British film The I. Directed by Daffne Shamon, The Psychological Thriller also reflects Mark Rowle and investigates the mysteries of Evil I.

Actor Shruti Haasan is ready for his international debut with the British film The I. directed by Daffne Sean. The film is a psychological thriller and will be the initial feature of the India Premier 5th Vench Film Festival.
The trailer of the eye was released on Maha Shivaratri. The I narrates the ghostly story of Diana (played by Shruti Haasan), who travels to the island of remote, where her husband Felix (Mark Rowle) drowned, scattered her ashes.
However, his grief soon turns into a conspiracy when he learns about the mysterious ‘Evil Eye’ ritual – an ancient practice that may bring back the Felix, but demands a dark and unstable sacrifice.

The film was shot in place in Athens and Corfu, which was exploiting Greece’s atmospheric beauty to increase the terrible and suspicious tone of the film.
After its initial screening at the London Independent Film Festival and its showcase at the Greek International Film Festival, The I continue to create enthusiasm among the global audience.
Speaking on the eve of the film’s Indian premiere, Shruti Haasan said, “Psychological thriller has always been a style that fascinates me. Being a part of a story that dives deeply in human feelings, grief, and supernaturally thrilling.”
He said, “Apart from the fact that the film has a story and top-pay production quality, which makes the project even more special, it was built under an all-vumen-limited production house, which aligns with my passion to support women in the film industry.
