"The hardest thing about being a robot is…":What Tesla’s Optimus said

Tesla’s Optimus, a humanoid robot, made waves at the ‘We, Robot’ event held in California, United States on Thursday. The Optimus robot was seen dancing, serving drinks, interacting with guests and even posing for selfies. But what has now gone viral on social media is the conversation between Optimus and one of the guests.

In a minute-long video posted by user @cb_doge on X (formerly Twitter), the guest says, “This is crazy. He is also talking.” After exchanging greetings he says, “This is crazy, I’m talking to a robot.”

During a casual conversation, Guest asks Optimus, “What’s the hardest thing about being a robot?” And it said: “Trying to learn how to be human like you guys,” leaving the guest laughing.

“And that’s something I try hard every day and hopefully help us get better,” he said.

Another video shows that Optimus knows how to have fun. Emmanuel Huna, an X user and an architect and coder according to his bio, shared a video where he is seen playing “Rock, Paper and Scissors” with Optimus.

“It will basically do everything you want,” Tesla CEO Elon Musk said while introducing Optimus at the ‘We, Robot’ event. “It could be a teacher. It can take care of your kids, walk your dog, mow your lawn, bring you groceries, just be your friend and serve drinks. Whatever you can think of, it will work and it’s going to be awesome.”

In a demo video shown at the event, Optimus was seen picking up packages and performing household tasks such as watering plants, cleaning the kitchen, unloading groceries and playing with children.
