The game changer maker blames himself for the failure of the film: I regret 100 percent

Six months after its release, Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ made headlines to a large extent for wrong reasons. Addressing the film’s performance and criticism around the length, producer Dil Raju confirmed that the original cuts lasted close to four and a half hours, and accepted their regret in not giving a hit for the actor.
In an interview with M9 News As part of the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Thomamudu’, Dil Raju said, “With big films and big directors, this problem is always there. Not only with this film or Dil Raju, it is with most big films. The statement made by the editor that the game changer is true for four and a half hours. But we can direct the film.”
Talking about the challenges of handling such cooperations, he said, “The problem is, if we interfere then it gets a mess. If there is a mistake, it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to stop it, which I did not do. So I consider it on my failure. I have to accept it, and I should not mount a project with big directors.”
Considering the lessons learned, he said, “If I am working with big directors, at least I should clearly mention my points in the contract, which I could not do. I realized that it is not my school. So I am slowly moving forward.”
Under the pressure to meet expectations, after the global success of Ram Charan, especially with ‘RRR’, Raju said, “100% I regret.
