Actor Karthik Aryan’s team has responded to the claims of his participation in the ‘Azadi Utsav-The Indian Independence Day’ event organized by a Pakistani-owned restaurant. The Federation of Western Landia Cine Employees (FWICE) wrote an official letter to the actor about violation of criteria, his team addressed the allegations.

In an official statement, his team wrote, “Karthik Aryan is not associated with this incident in any capacity. He has never made an official announcement about participating in the incident. We have approached the organizers and requested to remove all the promotional materials characterized by his name and image.”

The event was being organized by Houston, Aga Restaurant and Catering in the United States, a Pakistani -owned establishment starring by Mr. Shaukat Maradia. This restaurant is also included in a parallel program called Jashn-e-Azadi for the purpose of celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day, which features Pakistani singer Aatif Aslam.

The actor wrote in the FWICE letter, “Dear Mr. Karthik Aarean, you are widely considered one of the most talented and promising young actors in the landian film industry. Today your journey from a humble beginning is one of the most popular and bankable stars. Worldwide.”

It further reads, “The Federation of Western Landia Cine Employees (FWIC) is the original body of all 36 crafts in the landian film and television industry and represents the scores of members working in various fields of entertainment industry.
