Sharing the trailer on X, Chopra also announced that the film will be released in theaters on August 28 in the US and September 18 in the UK, with more international release dates to be announced.

In her post, Chopra wrote, “When I first heard the story of @PKMahanandia1’s extraordinary journey cycling across continents for love, I was instantly awestruck. It’s one of those rare, almost unbelievable true stories that stays with you long after you hear it. Directed by Orlando von Einsiedel, circle of love The story is set in the 1970s and tells the story of P Mahanandia, a then 23-year-old Delhi-based artist who embarks on a 6,000-mile journey from India to Sweden to find true love. In the trailer, Mahanandia recalls his childhood and shares that “a prophecy said that my future wife would come from a far away country.”
In the trailer, Mahanandia shared that he grew up in poverty and started painting portraits of tourists to earn a living. During this time he met Lotta von Schedwin. According to the footage, von Schedwin promised she would return in August, and when the summer months came and went, she took matters into her own hands.
“I left everything I knew,” he recalls, before cycling thousands of miles to Sweden to find her. While the film directed by Oscar winner Orlando von Einsiedel stars both Mahanandia and Von Schedwin, actors Chirag Benedict Lobo and Meena Dell portray the younger versions of the real-life couple.
except circle of loveChopra is also the executive producer of the American biographical drama Amri, based on the life of Hungarian-Indian painter Amrita Sher-Gil. As an actor, his last release was the American action-thriller The BluffStreaming on Prime Video.
The actor-producer is also returning to Indian cinema with director SS Rajamouli’s pan-global film VaranasiIn which she has played the character of Mandakini.
