The childless cat ladies who tried to grab Trump’s throat
Women in the world’s oldest democracy are still waiting for the glass ceiling to be broken, but patriarchy has won this era. All endorsements have failed, including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Anne Hathaway and Julia Roberts.
in short
- Donald Trump has once again won the US elections
- Several high-profile celebrity endorsements have failed for Kamala Harris
- Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Cardi B and others support Harris
The ‘hardest, highest’ glass ceiling stands. The US presidential election is probably no place for women, as America has proven time and again. All it takes is one old white man to throw women’s rights movements out the window; So, eight years after Hillary, the women of the world’s oldest democracy are still waiting. They are waiting for the glass ceiling to break but patriarchy has won this era. Not Harris. Not Swift. Neither Oprah nor Lopez. Not childless cat ladies. Not ‘Girl Bosses’.
When it comes to trust, America trusts its gray-haired people far more than any other demographic.
So, as Democrats and Team Harris go back to the drawing board to analyze swing states, the White House is getting ready to deal with the next four years of Donald Trump’s mood swings. All the advertisements have fallen flat. Trump, with the power and money of billionaire Elon Musk, defeated the women and won once again. You don’t need to be Nostradamus to know that Trump and feminism really don’t go well together. He likes to hold on to feminism, well, you know, and America answers his call. He did it in 2016; He has done this in 2024.
Trust in women is a hill that Capitol Hill cannot conquer. Women’s rights do not become an issue in American elections. Women do it. As long as he is out of the President’s chair.
Who are these women who have opened a front against Trump for Kamala?
Here’s a look.
Taylor Swift
Pop sensation Taylor Swift, whose Erasure Tour significantly boosted the US economy, endorsed Kamala Harris in an Instagram post to her 283 million followers in September, just weeks before Election Day.
“I am voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for rights and issues I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think he is a determined, talented leader and I believe we can accomplish a lot in this country if we lead with peace, not chaos. “I was so pleased and inspired by her selection of her running mate, Tim Walz, who has stood up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right over her own body for decades,” Swift wrote.
Oh, and she signed her note as ‘Childless Cat Lady.’
cardi b
Now that Donald Trump has won the 2024 US election, Cardi B only had four words for American voters: “I hate y’all.”
The rapper was very vocal about her support for Harris, even attending one of her campaign rallies in Milwaukee and even getting into a war of words with X CEO Elon Musk afterward.
In support of Democrat Harris, Cardi B said, “I didn’t trust any candidate until she (Harris) got into the race and said the things I wanted to hear, the things I wanted to hear in this country.” I want to look forward. I believe every word that comes out of his mouth. She’s passionate, she’s kind, she shows empathy, and most of all, she’s not confused. Kamla believes that this country is in danger. The economy needs to be strong, the cost of food and the cost of living are very high.
Beyoncé
‘Queen B’ Beyonce was also supporting Kamala Harris. The global pop sensation joined Democrats at their Houston rally in October, where she said, “I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician. I am here as a mother. A mother who cares deeply about the world that my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we are not divided.”
In another show of support, Beyoncé shared glimpses of herself on Election Day, wearing a T-shirt bearing Kamala Harris’s photo.
Jennifer Lopez
At a Harris rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jennifer Lopez said the Trump versus Harris election demands a choice: “A choice between backward and forward, a choice between past and future, a choice between divided and united.” “
Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey’s message to the public was clear as she endorsed Harris at her final campaign rally in Pennsylvania on November 4, saying that a Trump presidency could mean the end of voting rights in the US.
Julia Roberts
Despite Donald Trump’s suggestion that Julia Roberts might one day regret supporting Kamala Harris, here’s an ad with Roberts showing her support for Harris.

kerry washington
Actress Kerry Washington actively supported Kamala Harris throughout her campaign. “Here in Wisconsin, you have the ability to save the soul of this country,” he said at an event. “To actually stand between us and the guy who said on day one that he wanted to be a dictator.”
Anne Hathaway
Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway loudly announced that she will vote for Kamala Harris. While performing at a Broadway for Harris fundraiser in New York City on Monday, October 14, the actress said, “If you don’t know, I’m voting for Kamala.”
“America is a very big place and not everyone decides, especially in an election like this when the passions are rightfully so intense because the stakes couldn’t be higher. It’s still very important to remember that you have to meet people where they are,” she added.

Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga also appeared at the final campaign rally for Kamala Harris. In addition to the performance, Gaga said, “Today, I hold in my heart all the tough, determined women who made me who I am. I cast my vote for a man who will be president for all Americans.
katy perry
In her last-minute support for the US President, Katy Perry said she is voting for Kamala Harris because of her daughter.
“Four years ago, I became a mother. Best decision I ever made. “Orlando and I welcomed our daughter, Daisy, and that’s why I’m voting for Kamala Harris,” Perry said at a campaign rally.
She further added, “As women she will protect our rights to decide on our bodies. I know she will protect my daughter’s future and our families’ future. Let’s make Kamala Harris the next President of the United States.”
Maybe next time.
