The Academy also honored the actor by sharing an excerpt from Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham where the actor makes his entry and asked if it was Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest entry scene ever. The Academy has shared a scene from Karan Johar’s film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. In this unforgettable scene, Shah Rukh Khan’s character Rahul Raichand arrives in a black helicopter and steps into the courtyard. His mother, Nandini Raichand, played by Jaya Bachchan, immediately senses his presence. Nandini, dressed in a beautiful white saree designed by Manish Malhotra, was about to welcome her husband Yash Raichand (played by Amitabh Bachchan). aarti thalidiverts his attention. As Shahrukh Khan, dressed all in black, runs towards the house, Nandini hesitates, doubting her intuition, but then catches a glimpse of him. Recognizing him with a smile and a familiar gesture, Khan asked in Hindi how he always knew when he was coming. Nandini smiles through her tears, applies tilak on his forehead and touches his face lovingly.
