Salman Khan’s Tere Naam is currently running in theatres. This tragic romantic action drama directed by late Satish Kaushik collected Rs. Earned Rs 15 lakh on the fifth day. The film saw an increase in ticket sales on Tuesday due to the fare discount. Another increase is expected to be recorded on Wednesday and Thursday due to Holi festival and holidays.
With this kind of earning, Tere Naam has crossed the Rs 1 crore mark. Upon its re-release, it made a business of Rs 1 crore at the Indian box office. It took 5 days for the film to cross this figure, which it should have earned in the first weekend itself. He said, considering the Ramzan period and limited release, the film is doing quite well. Considering the huge demand from the audience for its re-release, the film should have done better at the box office.
Based on current trends, Tere Naam is expected to cross Rs. 1.50 crore figure in the second weekend. How far the film can go from there will depend on how the film fares in the second week.
Apart from the recently released The Kerala Story 2, this film does not have much competition. Apart from this, another Salman Khan film, Andaz Apna Apna, co-starring Aamir Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon is being re-released in select theaters on March 6.
