Telangana government bans special shows after Pushpa 2 stampede tragedy

Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Friday announced that the government will not allow benefit/special shows of leading actors. On 4 December, special shows for Pushpa 2 were organized in select theaters in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bengaluru. Allu Arjun along with his fans went to Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad to watch the special screening of Pushpa 2. However, a 39-year-old woman named Revathi died due to the stampede-like situation. His nine-year-old son Shri Tej is undergoing treatment.
