The Jason Sudeikis-led sports comedy drama, Ted Lasso, has officially picked up a fourth season. The latest update comes in the form of the first image of Ted Lasso Season 4, a teaser trailer and confirmation of its release date, as well as the reveal of the story’s basic plot. The lead star is making a strong return, along with being an executive producer of the show, with Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift once again reprising their roles.
First Look Out at Ted Lasso Season 4
In the first image shared from the upcoming release, Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) can be seen back in his game mode with Coach Beard (Brandon Hunt) and his new assistant coach played by Tanya Reynolds. The show begins three years after Ted has been away from work, and one day he returns to Richmond to take on a new challenge leading a women’s soccer team. A fan called him out from the start, but he looked determined to win once again. Initially surprised by the team’s dynamics, his assistant coach and Beard helped him recover.

Apple TV will air the show for a total of 10 episodes, like the first season, and unlike the previous two installments. The first episode will hit screens on August 5, and will be released weekly every Wednesday until October 7 for the season finale.
