Taylor Swift’s engagement with Kellas gets the most renovated on the post Instagram
Pop star Taylor Swift and Athlete Travis Kail’s engagement posts were more than 1 million reposts in just six hours. In the first hour alone, it received 14 million likes.
Global pop sensation Taylor Swift and NFL Star Travis Cels are officially engaged. The couple shared the news on Instagram on 26 August, and in the true Swiftian fashion, the announcement broke the social media record within hours.
According to data quoted by BoardThe Kellas featured Hindola Post proposed to the ‘The Alchemy’ singer, which overtook a million ripost on Instagram, which was more than any other post in the history of the platform. What is more, he achieved milestones within six hours.
The engagement post did not break the repost records. It crossed a stunning 14 million likes in the first hour and 30 million likes at the time of publication.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Read the cheek caption, combined with a series of intimate photos. One image shows cels on one knee in a succulent garden setting, while the other offers a look at the dazzling diamond ring of the swift to the fans.
Set in the backdrop of Swift’s song ‘So High School’, widely estimated about Kels, ‘Post hit a raga with fans. The track, from his 2024 album ‘The Tortard Poetts Department’, saw a 400 percent increasing spike in the streams soon after the announcement, although the platform has not yet revealed the accurate data or confirmed that other songs have seen the same traction.
Swift and Kails began dating in 2023, quickly became one of the most viewed celebrity couples. Their relationship attracted attention when Swift was often seen at Kails’s Cannes City Chiefs Games, while NFL Star was seen happy on several ERAS tour performances before wrapping in December 2024.
Just before a fortnight from the engagement, Swift made her podcast debut in the August 13 episode new heightsCo-hosted by Kellas. The couple opened the early stages of their relationship and in a double treatment for fans, Swift used the episode to announce their 12th studio album ‘The Life of a Short’, which revealed the cover art, full tractist and the release date of October 3.
The podcast episode also broke its own record, noted a Guinness World Record for the most viewed live podcast premiere on YouTube, tuning with 1.3 million concurrent audiences.
